Photoespaña 2009. Openphoto Cuenca

One year on, one of the most important photography festivals in the world arrives in Cuenca with a number of exhibitions.
Three works, respectively sponsored by the cultural institutes of the embassies of Colombia, Portugal and the Netherlands, will be displayed at the Antonio Saura Foundation. CONTRATEXTOS represents a meeting with some of the contemporary Colombian artists of greatest international renown. We are talking of Oscar Muñoz, José Alejandro Restrepo, Miguel Angel Rojas or Fernell Franco.
The Camoes Institute has undertaken a retrospective exhibition of the Portuguese photo-journalist of the beginning of the XX century JOSHUA BENOLIEL.
Lastly, the Antonio Saura Foundation library will host the exhibition PAGES, dedicated to exhibiting bibliographical production in the field of the photo-book and photography books published in Holland.
