In an event held at the San Miguel church, the President of the Board of the Antonio Saura Foundation and sister of the painter, Mª Ángeles Saura, together with her brother, filmmaker and also member of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Carlos Saura, received from the Mayor of Cuenca, Francisco J. Pulido, the title of Adopted Children of the city in recognition of their long-standing links to Cuenca, consolidated in recent years by their decisive support for the Foundation created by Antonio Saura in 1995.
