Discoduro.qnk Florence Miailhe animation shorts
[ From 22nd of November to 8th of December 2010 ]
Florence Miailhe graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in the specialty of engraving, and likewise teaches at the prestigious Gobelins school of animation. She began her career as an illustrator, and in 1991 made her first short film.
Her extensive curriculum as Director, Scriptwriter, Director of Photography/Image, Set Designer and Special Effects establish her as one of the best animators of the European continent.
Amongst her greatest successes as a director are Hammam, Conte de quartier and Au premier dimanche d'août, winning awards at the festivals of Locarno, Cannes, Sitges and the César awards.

The work presented throughout the 5th cycle of Women as Directors, International Film Week of the City of Cuenca, at the Antonio Saura Foundation, Casa Zavala, are the following:
